I liked Marc Jacobs perfumes long before the first spray, the first whiff - I fell in love with the bottles and the design right away when I saw them on a beauty blog ages back.  Unfortunately, these weren't available for sale where I stayed, and only after I came to the US could I actually buy my first Marc Jacobs perfume.  Like all the Marc Jacobs perfumes I have managed to sample and buy so far, Dot too is a warm floral that captures in it the very essence of summer.

Chanel No. 19 Poudre Eau de Parfum Spray - This luminous re-imagining of Coco Chanel's signature scent - named Nº19 in honor of her birthdate, August 19, 1883 - reveals a bold fragrance with a daring combination of crisp green notes and powdery iris.

Chanel No. 19 Poudre Eau de Parfum has the same strong aldehyde notes that are so characterstic of Chanel No. 5.  On first sprtiz, the smell is quite strong and almost putting off.  In just about a minute, the sharp smell disappears, and a powdery floral smell emerges.  Wait for another 5 to 10 minutes, and the heart of the perfume finally opens out.  It's a powdery, slightly floral smell but with an earthy woody smell to it that rounds it out.  That's the final version of the perfume, and it doesn't change until it completely disappears.  this final settled note is what I love most about this perfume.  I hated it when I first put it on, but as the perfume settled down to its final version, I just loved it.  If you ever want to buy this perfume, I urge you to give some time before deciding if you like it or not.  Spray it and walk around a while before you make your mind.  I could wear this perfume anywhere - it would fit in almost anywhere, be it office or shopping.
